Florida reports LOWEST COVID cases per capita in the nation - despite criticism of Gov. DeSantis for his ban on mask and vaccine mandate

Florida's Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis may be vindicated for his refusal to impose pandemic lockdowns, as well as vaccine and mask mandates, after the Sunshine State posted the lowest number of new COVID-19 cases and deaths per capita in the nation.

On Friday, the Sunshine State reported 1,393 new cases of COVID-19, roughly six cases per every 100,000 residents. The state also reported just one death in the past week.

By contrast, Michigan leads the nation in daily coronavirus cases per capita - with a 7-day rolling average of 560 per 100,000 residents - despite Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer imposing some of the harshest restrictions in the nation.

How do people not figure out that the entire Covid crap is the biggest scam ever?

Florida and other nations like China, Japan and India know it too. This is why none of these places are suffering.

Only the places most committed to Covid, the cult of the experimental mRNA gene therapies , etc.. are doing the worse.

The obsession with testing is the cause of the “pandemic”. The obstinate refusal of effective early treatments and the crazed use of ventilators and remdesivir are the killers.

This is a government mass murder of our people and our society in the name of the great reset.

Maybe Florida, by being relatively unrestricted, now has a lot more people with a natural immunity.

You would expect, given the large retiree population in Florida, that the average age there is somewhat higher than other states. Since covid is apparently harder on older people than younger people... You'd expect if all other things were equal that Florida would have a higher incidence and death rates.

But Florida's numbers are lower, better. It would appear either Florida is doing something right, or other states are doing something wrong, or some combination of the two. ;-)

DeSantis should put in place a program to provide Covid kits that include Ivermectin to all that test positive for Covid.

You would think that Florida has the highest median age, but it actually #6 being the three northern New England states of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

This is a list of U.S. states, the District of Columbia and territories by median age in 2019.[note 1] Median age is the age that divides a population into two numerically equal groups - that is, half the people are younger than this age and half are older. It is a single index that summarizes the age distribution of a population.

Rank State,
federal district,
or territory Median age
in years
(Total
Population)[1][2][note 2]
1 Maine 45.0
2 Puerto Rico[2] 43.6
3 New Hampshire 43.1
4 Vermont 43.0
5 West Virginia 42.9
6 Florida 42.5
7 U.S. Virgin Islands[2] 41.8
8 Connecticut 41.1
8 Delaware 41.1
10 Pennsylvania 40.8

“Maybe Florida, by being relatively unrestricted, now has a lot more people with a natural immunity.”

That’s it.

Florida had a huge Delta wave, that has now run its course. Nearby States like Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Louisiana that also had big Delta waves back then, are also low now.

States that did not have big Delta waves then, are getting them now, in the Upper Mid-West, NE, and the Mountain Time Zone.

Eventually, most everyone will get around to being exposed.
