The problem is that the networks don’t depend on ratings to survive - they depend on sponsorship from Pfizer and other giant corporations.

Those sponsors do not have to care about the ratings competition between the networks - because they own all the networks. They only care about pushing certain narratives.

If one network loses ratings to another, Pfizer won’t pull their sponsorship - as long as their narratives are being advanced.

Of course, and Bezos money is propping up the narrative.

But if no one is watching, then how much influence do thay have? The public is onto them.
