I remember a video of a Russian jet that could do advanced aerobatics and it seemed to have the ability to turn on a dime. It caused a bit of a concern, but I haven’t seen anything of it since then.

This “cobra” maneuver is a typical show trick of the Russian/Chinese SU27 and MIG29 series, which constitute the bulk of their modern combat aircraft. All of them can do it if the pilot is up to it.
