Great story with history & humanity woven throughout. My son & I listen to the main Meat Eater podcast as we’re headed out to hunt deer. Guess I need to check out Bear Grease, too.

I've searched and searched, (which means 5 minutes on Google...) but I cannot find a pic, or a meme, or a gif of Walter Brennan in the movie Northwest Passage saying the line "rancid bear grease."

There was also a a special feature on the DVD of (I think) one of the Lethal Weapon movies that had Mel Gibson and a bunch of production staff performing imitations of Walter Brennan saying "rancid bear grease."

Funny stuff, but unfortunately I can't share. :(
