December 6, yes. That’s the day I will begin my involuntary suspension without pay. Our hospital did hold out until the end- but the blackmail by the government is effective.
Some of my co-workers will be coerced into taking it- others won’t. There is a rage building against the administration.
Does make you wonder if this is a big part of Obama/Biden forcing Government control of healthcare.
I was under the impression that Gov. DeSantis signed an executive order that protected you?
I have a feeling that that list will get very, very large in the coming weeks and months, and many health are systems will be in trouble, as we, the patients, will.
This is insanity.
So if you’re right and employees give up then it’s like Biden staring down Corn Pop. Joe can be terrifying./S
He signed it, yes. I love our governor! But that doesn’t affect healthcare workers who work at places accepting Medicare and medicaid, which are Federal dollars. Also, the OSHA regs don’t affect us either. We’re under CMS, and they have not followed what OSHA did last week- suspening the mandate.
Our Fl. AG Moody sued CMS last week, but federal judge already ruled against her. Now she’ll appeal..but..this all takes time...
I didn't count them all.
I well say I work in a small rural Hosp. sometimes.
I've not been vaxxed at all..I have been exposed many, many times...
Up in the grills of many COVID POS people...And I have not tested POS for the 19 ever.
I have had co-workers...get the VAXX and brag about not needing to wear protection..and then they got the 19 and confided in me they were scared.
The little Hosp. I work at takes very sick people..they need very qualified healthcare people helping them...
These mandate will ruin small Hospitals...Hospitals that are 50 miles away from a bigger Hosp.
I've already stated my position at the Hosp....
We shall see...
There was a shortage of nurses and other healthcare workers well before COVID. COVID caused a LOT of HC workers to retire, quit or change careers due to stress and being over worked, while at the same time shutting down schools that would produce new workers. The number of vax holdouts might be small but at this point, every loss is painful.
“Does make you wonder if this is a big part of Obama/Biden forcing Government control of healthcare.”
And just where is said “government” going to recruit competent healthcare workers? Don’t get me wrong, biteme is a retard and more than likely will import foreigners to fill positions but I for one am going to avoid them like the plague. The real plague not the imiganry covid.
Having worked in various hospital financial management roles for 35 years, it is safe to say government has controlled healthcare since the inception of Medicare. Accounting, reimbursement, covered service, and other conditions of participation determine how hospitals work. ObamaCare basically extended government's reach to commercial insurance carriers.
The left is not looking for competence. They are looking for equity. Scary.
Yes, I do realize this...however people are still free to choose their healthcare providers.
Like they do for every other government roles throughout our government. They’ll recruit and appoint those to do that recruiting, but they’ll all be under the covid shot rule without doubt.
...you *are* the problem.
What is happening, is mass retirements. The NYS healthcare system is devastated, probably running on 60-75% of it previous capacity. Some hospitals are running with over 50% of travelling nurses.
My daughter is in this category after working the Covid ward for a year and a half.
Merry Christmas!
destroying the healthcare system in this country like they want to destroy the energy sector as well. Build back better, read into this, destroy what we know and build it back with better control
