It was Obama in 2015 who started allowing our oil to be exported. Trump should have reversed it.

"It was Obama in 2015 who started allowing our oil to be exported. Trump should have reversed it."

Given that under Trump, we became energy independent, he had no need to "fix it". In fact, he had no choice and many good reasons to encourage it.

He’s been doing it since he took office. Oil is fungible, it doesn’t matter. My only question is what he’s doing with the money.

You now know what “SPR” stands for (we all thought “Strategic Petroleum Reserve”, right?). It means “Screw Public Repeatedly”. We live, we learn.

The criminal behavior of Dems is long, wide, & deep.

So we are exporting product from SO Reserve to China while, at the same time, Brandon is asking China to provide more oil for the United States?? Note to Brandon: There is a simpler way to accomplish this.

It must be a deal that lines someone’s pockets both ways.

We have a limited supply of oil the ground. Every gallon we send to China is one they get to use and the USA doesn’t.

Probably selling it to reduce the deficit rather than helping Americans.

No, oil is fungible. Read up on it.

Also, it may not even be limited, that’s a subject of discussion.

Notice how it’s always somewhere in Asia but the country is never named.

""It was Obama in 2015 who started allowing our oil to be exported.""

I read this as referring to oil exports in general, not oil exports from the SPR. I absolutely agree that the SPR oil should NOT be exported.

Information tidbit..the first SPR in Hackberry, LA was built into a mined-out salt dome that belonged to the family of one of my college room-mates.
