The Federal Bureau of Investigation has created a "threat tag" to aid in tracking alleged threats against school board officials, teachers and staff, as part of its implementation of a controversial memo issued by Attorney General Merrick Garland last month citing a nationwide increase in harassment of education officials.
An Oct. 20 internal email from the FBI’s criminal and counterterrorism divisions, released Tuesday by House Republicans, instructed agents to apply the threat tag "EDUOFFICIALS" to all investigations and assessments of threats directed specifically at education officials.
"The purpose of the threat tag is to help scope this threat on a national level, and provide an opportunity for comprehensive analysis of the threat picture for effective engagement with law enforcement partners at all levels," the email stated.
The email also directs FBI agents to consider whether the criminal activity being investigated is in violation of federal law and what the potential "motivation" is behind it.

The members of the FBI should be labeled with a threat tag themselves! They truly are the just one of many threats to the American people.
Here’s a thought....maybe the “EDUOFFICIALS” should start working for the nation’s parents instead of against them.
Victor Davis Hanson’s recent podcast listed the unbelievably long train of abuses and said it’s time the FBI was dismantled.
This tracking of fictitious “threats” by parents is the absolute last straw.
Using the FBI to stamp out Christians and sensible people.
We elect people to ensure that this corruption is dealt with. I know the Democrats encourage this behavior, so no help there, but the GOP needs to find their gonads and begin a "corrupt FBI" drumbeat.
The FBI really should have been shut down and completely re-organized after the Clintons used it for their own personal mafia-or before-there have been so many years of presidents using it for a personal mafia-since JFK my mom used to say- that there is no way to fix it without taking it down first...

The FBI has become the hired guns or enforcers for the leftist and their Communist bosses.
The disagreement I have with that meme is that imo, the Feebs were created expressly to serve as a tool of political suppression and intimidation on the national level, and the “organized crime” thing was just the slogan to get people to buy into it.

I’m convinced that the Republicans won’t go against intelligence agencies like the FBI because they are mostly all compromised. We know that the FBI and her sister agencies engage in illegal domestic spying, on a massive scale, and have done so probably for decades. It’s not hard to imagine that they have a blackmail dossier on almost any politician who could challenge them.
Even without any real dirt, we have just seen over the last four years what they can do with a dossier made up of pure innuendo, and every politician in DC saw that too and got the message.
Well, not only the FBI & CIA Need dismantled, but School Boards also. And for the meantime parents should find other ways to educate their children than at schools ruled by political boards/overseers.
Most parents are too lazy to provide for their own childrens' education.
How about this instead: responsible parents take your kids out of public schools, but run for school boards anyway. Platform: "the public schools in this district are so horrible, I can't send my kids there. I want to fix it so I would feel comfortable to send my kids to the schools that my taxes pay for"
You are very lucky That home school is legal. I’m not connected to our local school board. Don’t hear any conplaints. It seems that our local schools, as well as those across the river in Ohio, are pretty conservative. Both small towns, so folks are pretty much of a like mind.
My last child was an exceptional child who traveled with us all over the U.S. Verbally & experienced he was way ahead of his peers. He was bored to tears and spent more time in the hall than in the class room. He was so in need of hone school because I was teaching him anyway. It’s a miracle he survived and managed to go as far as college. Point is, homeschool was verboten. We put him in every kind of school we could find and none of them could deal with a child prodigy who was playing violin at 3 years old. His music kept him sane.
