Sounds like the man and his wife adopted several children from other family members (the adopted daughter who was staying with him was stated elsewhere as being his great niece).

The two people who were arrested and charged are the likely culprits, but Gail Wilson’s body hasn’t been found yet. It’s in pieces, or so it sounds.
From their pics, they look like heroin addicts (swollen faces and blank expressions). That could be a motive for why they killed him. He adopted Savannah when she was 10 months old - what a kind man. RIP

As far as motive, whatever it is, it is not good.

As far as the heroin issue?
It won’t take long in a jail cell to determine that.
They’re pretty nice to junkies in jail, actually. If you just tell them you’re an addict they’ll give you methadone and put you in a different block than the other inmates.
