Sen. Ron Johnson’s (R-WI) YouTube account was suspended for one week starting Friday for uploading content violating the platform’s policy against COVID-19 misinformation.
The video that triggered the suspension was a roundtable discussion in which the lawmaker falsely claimed that coronavirus vaccines are unsafe.
“The updated figures today are 17,619. That is 225 times the number of deaths in just a 10-month period versus an annual figure for the flu vaccine. These vaccine injuries are real.” Johnson was citing numbers from the self-reporting database the Vaccine Adverse Effects Reporting System (VAERS). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns that reports in the system, which can easily be gamed by activists hoping to prove a point, “do not necessarily mean that a vaccine caused a health problem.”
“Once again Big Tech is censoring the truth," Johnson said in a statement. "Why won’t they let the vaccine injured tell their stories and medical experts give a second opinion? Why can’t we discuss the harmful effects of mandates? Apparently, the Biden administration and federal health agencies must not be questioned. How many more lives will be needlessly destroyed?"
Another participant in the roundtable said that coronavirus vaccines do not prevent death, independently violating YouTube policies, which bar content about COVID-19 that poses a serious risk of egregious harm or spreads misinformation that contradicts the guidance of health authorities.
The video of the roundtable was removed by the platform, a YouTube spokesperson told The Hill, although a shorter version of the discussion was allowed to stay up.
“We craft our policies to reduce the risk of real-world harm, updating them as official guidance evolves, and we consider the context of a video to make exceptions that balance open discussion of people’s experiences with preventing the spread of harmful misinformation,” the spokesperson said.

Google, Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter all need to be broken up ASAP for violating antitrust laws.

How does that work out as a % of total as that would be the salient comparison.
But what we are seeing here is far beyond groupthink, although I suspect that the same people pointing the finger at Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, et alia for their efforts in shutting down dissent some twenty years ago don't see the similarities in the behavior of today's shot proponents. And if or when the effects of this shot turn out for the worst, the powers to be that promoted it are going to be damned in the court of public opinion for the efforts they engaged in to promote it and to shut down any opinion that raised even the smallest question about its actual effects.
Note the gaslighting from The Hill, “falsely claiming that the vaccines were unsafe.” They don’t say he was “claiming” they were unsafe, they say he was “falsely claiming” that. But they don’t offer any evidence whatsoever that his claims were false. Pure gaslighting. The Hill is enemy.
YouTube must be punished for this.
They are interfering with government communications.
Big Tech and Big Media are doing everything they can to silence dissent about the poisons produced by Big Pharma.

Group think, actively encourages similar lies of thoughts and discourages opposing views. They do this by social que or management. Not active censoring.

This is evil; pure and simple. And if I am right this will result in millions of innocent deaths over the next few years.
Mark Dice put out a 7 min. video today about Youtube eliminating the "dislike" function on all Youtube videos. He, quite plausibly, explains why they did it.
The last statement here is a good point; people with opposing views may simply censor themselves out of fear of being outside the group.
(Although I think an argument can be made re: 2003 that there were, in fact, active steps taken to stifle dissent, be it from a general with a contrary opinion or from the Pope's emissary with a plea for peace.)

I see your sarc tag (but I’m not sure I get it).
Just to be clear, YouTube itself is not a publicly-traded company. However, YouTube is owned by Alphabet Inc. Alphabet, who also owns Google, is a publicly-traded company. If want to own a piece of YouTube, you can purchase Alphabet stock.
Alphabet needs to be chopped up for antitrust violations and censoring government speech.
