With a little prep and direct supervision, I’ll bet some of the older kids could have served as deputized Student Teacher Aides. It was always a high honor when I could help some of my teachers out. Better still if done in a class I already liked and understood.

With a little prep and direct supervision, I’ll bet some of the older kids could have served as deputized Student Teacher Aides.

But have those older kids already undergone the required course of "anti-racist" seminars?

Have they been properly trained in the use of pronouns?

Are they qualified to instruct the younger kids in CRT?

I have no doubt that many parents would be more than happy (and more qualified, in the traditional sense of the word) to "fill in."

Why this talk of "deputized Student Teacher Aides?" I know that such little stroll down "Memory Lane" might be very enjoyable and/or comforting for some - but the Titanic is sinking, and you are suggesting that we re-arrange the deck chairs.

Regards,
