I was incensed by this headline. The actual truth is that those who might be separated from service with an undesirable discharge do not get benefits. They could easily be given a general discharge under medical conditions or even honorable conditions and still be eligible for benefits.
Section 716 of the NDAA made it through the house. I called the sponsor’s office (Green, TN) and the staffer told me all the democrats on the armed services committee voted in favor of it too.

“(a) Prohibition.—Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a member of an Armed Force under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of a military department subject to discharge on the basis of the member choosing not to receive the COVID-19 vaccine may only receive an honorable discharge.”
Except the left loves nothing more than screwing over patriots.
Somehow, the foolishness of p’ ing off those best trained to fight seems to have escaped the democrats.
