One week after officially becoming a former ESPN employee for refusing the company’s Covid vaccine mandate, sports reporter Allison Williams spoke with Megyn Kelly about her decision.
During the interview on SiriusXM, Kelly asked Williams about President Joe Biden stating vaccine order “isn’t about your freedom,” last month.
“I have never been so jarred by anything a president said,” Williams said while acknowledging we just spent four years with Donald Trump in office. “To hear the leader of the free world stand up and say, ‘this isn’t about your freedom, I thought ‘oh my god, it is ALWAYS about our freedom.’”

The left has gone way too far. Biden may be a drooling senile idiot but he’s the face of this, and he and the people behind him need to be resisted to the end.

She had her freedom. Nobody held her down and forced her to take the shot.
A person faced with a decision to take this shot or lose their job does not have "freedom" to make the decision.
I thought the emotional thinkers were predominantly found on the Left.
Other than your emotions, on what do you base your accusation that this woman had an abortion?
You have a funny definition of freedom. No one should have to make a choice between employment and having something injected into you due to government decree. That's not freedom.

I think Australia and Ireland are instructive as examples. In Australia they have the sick leftist/collectivist police force to enforce the tyranny by brute force, so they do. In Ireland they don’t have the sicko police culture and the police simply don’t have the numbers anyway. The Irish have long guns, pistols are all but impossible to own. (Also, if need be the Irish have a history of getting the guns by hook or by crook.). In Ireland it’s pervasive messaging.
Sure she did. According to the article she's an 'ex-ESPN' reporter. She made her decision and I applaud her for sticking with her convictions.
It wasn't a government decree, it was her company's policy. Nobody forced ESPN to require vaccinations. They decided to. That's not freedom.
Freedom means being able to make your own decision. She made her decision. She's not vaccinated.

Right. The private company coincidentally mandated the vaccine immediately after the potato of a president went on TV and said all companies with 100 employees or more will have to abide by an emergency OSHA rule to have all employees vaccinated or face daily fines.
Yeah. I'm sure that was completely coincidental and not the threat of governmental force at all.
Also coincidentally, the company I work for said the same thing a few days after Biden made the OSHA rule announcement on TV. Such crazy freedom of choice coincidences! I'm not sure what to do with all this freedom they're giving me!
Apparently the coercion didn't work, did it? She made her decision and stuck to her guns regardless of the ramifications. Had she gotten the shot and kept her job in spite of her feelings about the vaccine then you could claim coercion.
