Well, the silver lining in all this is that inflated shipping costs are a de facto tarriff, and if they get high enough, it may bring some manufacturing back home.

I’m sure the leftists are already planning on how to regulate American manufacturing and transportation so that China will still have competitive prices, even if prices increase by 10 times. They will blame it on the “greedy” American producers.
