“I am looking at labels on everything now, if it says Made In China, it goes back on the shelf.”
My wife pike up a package of frozen talapia from Sams Club. Been buying it their for years. It had some funky look to it so into the garbage it went.
“...voted for a pants messing demented potato and a bunch of his fellow mental mushroom Democraps.”
Now that right there is the most accurate description of the talking turd and his brother septic tank dwellers that I have seen.
HEB regularly has boneless chuck on sale for $2.99/lb.
Everyone should avoid Nabisco, PepsiCo, and Coca-Cola - they are all “woke” companies and their products are very unhealthy
Hey all the sheep who voted from Hiden because of “mean tweets”: enjoy the suck of regressive taxation.
Form a human chain cordon to let skateboard riding food distributor's shipments get through. A dramatic moment of people thinking together in a crisis.
We went from the greatest President in modern American history, to this.
After creating an epic disaster in every direction, the Communist and their leftist stooges must know what’s coming.
Again, are the Dems swooning over their hero Brandon in the White House bringing them high gasoline prices and now scarce and more costly food and soon heating gas price increases?
Are they nuts?
“Earlier this month, the White House announced that it was able to push Walmart, FedEx, and UPS into committing to adding more shifts to alleviate shipping issues. The Port of Los Angeles also committed to 24/7 shifts...”
Yeah, I’m sure that was ALL Biden Admins ideas...yeah, thats the ticket.
The one that surprised me the most yesterday (and maybe this is sort of a “luxury item”???) was that the house-brand, canned, stems and pieces mushrooms were up about 35-40% over recent prices. I like to keep a couple cans on the shelf to add to spaghetti, casseroles, etc., as we like them, and they help stretch the meat, IMO. The small cans went from about $.69 to over $1, and the larger cans had been about $1.07 and now about $1.70ish.
Milano- $4.19 a package here, up from the usual $3.99
This is intentional by the Obiden regime.
They are squeezing us in every way they can.

Every Way Possible. We’re approaching a Perfect Storm.
BTW, the failing Supply Chain is already affecting tractor tires and other farm implement parts.
It’s normally $6/7 here and on sale for $5/6. The price list is for grass fed which is trendy aka pricey these days. I’ve only had grass fed as short ribs but they were good and a couple of weeks later found short ribs at the store for the first time. Not near as much flavor as the grass fed.
I just looked up hanger steak, also known as butcher’s steak because butchers tended to keep it for themselves. Supposed to be tender and flavorful. For $7/lb, I’ll be trying it. I notice they don’t list KC Strip so that must be their ‘butcher’s steak’.
They sell pork and chicken too and at decent prices.
Might as well get to know these people for the next time the meat shelves are empty. At least I know the beef isn’t pumped full of growth hormones and antibiotics at a feed lot.
Still can’t find decent ribs here in NY and they are overpriced at $7.99/pound.
What a great way for the environmentalists to have you cut back on meat. This is deliberate. But I hear ranchers are getting together to build a meat processing plant of their own in the Midwest somewhere. Farmers are not getting paid the inflationary prices for meat.
Why don’t you buy a package of fresh mushrooms?
They are probably grown in a green house within a couple hundred miles of your home.
More and more automated green houses are being constructed around the country. There is one here in NH called Lef Farms.
They grow lettuce in a greenhouse 24/7 fully automated. Literally nothing touches the plants throughout their entire growth cycle. Therefore, they do not need illegal aliens to pick, package, etc.

It is not a "supply chain" problem. The real problem is an off shoring of industry problem.
Good time to go on a diet.
“Still can’t find decent ribs here in NY and they are overpriced at $7.99/pound.”
Ribs were pretty much a staple in my house. I have watched them go from $21-$26 for a package of 3 racks of baby back ribs to $55 -$65 dollars packages of 3 racks. This since Lets Go Brandon took office.
I agree but it’s called the Supply Chain.
“We had a Venezuelan election.”
and now we are heading to Venezuelan inflation.
