... Now, al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, known as AQAP, has released a video boasting about the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan and vowing another attack on the scale of 9/11 but even "more painful."
The video, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI, is titled "A Message to the American People: You Have Yet to Understand the Lesson." It features Ibrahim Al-Qousi, a former prisoner at the U.S. facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Al-Qousi said, regarding the disastrous U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, that "the greatest loss America suffered, besides its material and human losses, is its reputation and prestige as a superpower and the most powerful country in the world."...
Spencer [Abraham] recalled bin Laden's famous quip that when "people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature they will like the strong horse."
Apparently, Spencer said, al-Qaida has noticed that America under Biden "is decidedly a weak horse."

Really. Oh it won't have been as ineptly done as Biden managed to do but the Taliban would have taken Afghanistan over, maybe with even more ease than with Biden. Trump was determined to remove every U.S. soldier from the country and repossess the arms and equipment we had given the Afghan army. There would have been nothing to prevent the Taliban from taking the country.
As for al-Qaida they would have been issuing threats, Trump or Biden. It's what they do.
Trump says now that he would have taken the equipment back because of how things turned out. It’s not clear that he actually would have done so if he had been reelected.

I understand that. But if we take him at his word now then the equipment would be gone and the Afghan army would have fallen apart with nothing to fight with. If we take him at his word then the Afghan army would have fallen apart and the Taliban would have had the same windfall of equipment that happened under Biden. Afghanistan fell apart because the Afghan government was corrupt top to bottom, and the army leadership was corrupt top to bottom. Their own people wouldn't fight for them because they were not worth fighting for. Trump couldn't have changed that.
