It’s really inconvenient to tell, with action, the corporate world, with the backing of the govt, to not take over the bodies of individual citizens.
Is it just me or has everything gone to sh*t since Biden moved in to the WH.
A friend of mine’s husband works for SWA. They received an email yesterday citing air traffic controller and weather issues. How long can they use this fake narrative?
They likely don’t have enough pilots to man the flights.
Or flight attendants. I read that they’re even short on ticket agents and other staff.
If it was Air Traffic Controllers, all airlines would be effected.

We have an Urgent Action Item for our PILOTS, but it requires ALL of our help.
The MEC has been directed by its members to hold a special meeting to further discuss the issue of mandatory vaccination and medical discrimination against Delta pilots. This meeting is going to be held from 09:00 to 17:00 on Wednesday, October 13th and from 09:00 to approximately noon on Thursday, October 14th at the DALPA HQ on the 7th floor of the Triumph Building, 100 Hartsfield Centre, Atlanta, GA 30354. (If you haven’t been there since you were a new hire, it’s a short walk from the Renaissance Concourse Hotel, which is easily accessible by hotel shuttle from the ATL airport.) We need maximum attendance by all Delta pilots opposed to mandatory vaccinations and medical discrimination. (If you can only be there one day, please try to make it the morning of the first day.) You may RSVP here. Your elected representatives still do not believe that this is an important issue for so many of us, and we need to show our support for the cause to convince them to do their jobs by defending ours.
We NEED to make our voices heard. To ALL of our Delta pilots we need as many of you in attendance as possible. To the rest of our employee group, we need YOU, to also help spread the word to any of our pilots that you know or work with. This meeting is crucial in our fight.
Our last order of business comes from the recent information of possible “sick outs” and “walk outs” across the industry. US Freedom Flyers put out a statement that we will paste below. We stand by, and agree with, USFF. Official Statement
We at US Freedom Flyers stand for medical freedom and informed consent, specifically when it comes to federal mandates coercing employees into getting a Covid-19 vaccine in order to keep one’s job. It is our position that this battle will be won in the court of public opinion and, if needed, a court of law.
This being said, we have been made aware there is an upcoming sickout planned for this week at multiple airlines. US Freedom Flyers unequivocally disavows and condemns any and all actions such as this. This type of activity hurts our passengers, hurts the companies we all work for, and does a great disservice to our stated goals.
The hard work we have all accomplished in a very short amount of time can be completely erased by actions such as these.

SWA used to be my #1 airline, even flew on it to Hawaii a few years ago. It’s so disappointing to witness the complete lies and falsehoods from the executive leadership on this one. Weather? BS. Complete lies is all we are getting from SWA.
We fly SWA tomorrow. When I go to the website to know flight status, I get an error message. My wife has cancer; we can’t stand in line for hours.

The media started by ignoring the COVID connection in their initial reports — except a passing acknowledgment of ‘earlier layoff’ during the ‘pandemic’. Today they are out-and-out denying a COVID-link. I wonder how they will portray Southwest’s problems by mid-week?

American media have blacked out the massive anti-mandate protests overseas so the Southwest strike might come as a surprise, but it’s not to anyone who’s been watching the pro-freedom uprisings around the world. More to come.

Southwest did not want their airplanes to get wet.....
If flights are canceled for weather and ATC issues, they are not held accountable. If it is on them, (staff and/or mechanical), they must pay meal and lodging for those delayed. At least that’s the way it used to work. Follow the $$$.
Maybe they will send some of the "peace-loving" Afghan refugees to "crash course" at a nearby flight school.

One month after the Biden administration announced a draconian federal vaccine mandate that impacted an estimated 100 million Americans and led to mass firings of public servants, teachers, and medical workers, the federal regulation still has not been formally issued.
The Federalist reported . . in a post on Thursday that noted, “Joe Biden’s Vaccine Mandate Doesn’t Exist. It’s Just A Press Release”:
Biden’s so-called vaccine mandate doesn’t exist — at least, not yet. So far, all we have is his press conference. No such rule even claiming to be legally binding has been issued yet.
That’s why nearly two dozen Republican attorneys general who have publicly voiced their opposition to the clearly unconstitutional and illegal mandate haven’t yet filed suit against it, the Office of the Indiana Attorney General confirmed for me. There is no mandate to haul into court. And that may be part of the plan.
According to several sources, so far it appears no such mandate has been sent to the White House’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs yet for approval. The White House, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Department of Labor haven’t released any official guidance for the alleged mandate. There is no executive order. There’s nothing but press statements.
Despite what you may have been . . . led to believe by the media, . . . press statements have exactly zero legal authority.
“There is nothing there yet that gives employers any mandate,” Stephanie McFarland, spokeswoman for the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration, told The Federalist’s Joy Pullman on Oct. 6. “The president made an announcement on this asking OSHA to do it, but we’ve not yet seen anything come from it yet,”. When the state agency gets any further information, she said, they’ll review it.”
