Fascinating.
Was it a hate-Jesus fest?
Absolutely fascinating.
What is a hate-Jesus fest. From my two years in Israel I found the average Jews and those in the diplomatic community to see Christians as the #3 religion behind the Muslims. Jews are rather dismissive or non-aligned on the subject.
A lot of Jews think it humorous that Christians co-opted their religion and then shut them out as irony. Not to belabor the point, but Jews could care less - those Christians can believe anything they want as long as they keep spending tourist dollars here;)
As a Christian myself it was wonderful to go all over Israel with my wife and kids. My favorite trip with my son was to a place overlooking the only route armies could ever traverse thru Israel; Armageddon was an ancient city. Solomon had 54 calvery stationed in the town and the worship remains of the temple faced out overlooking the Plaines, situated in a break in the higher hillside surroundings of the town. We prayed for peace in Israel, for the United States, and survival of the two.
