Chile reports breaking up ring that smuggled Haiti migrants

SANTIAGO, Chile -- Chilean police said Monday they have detained an international group of migrant traffickers who have sent more than 1,000 migrants out of the South American nation, including lone children heading to the United States....

...Police said the ring was led by a Haitian man and also included people from Peru, Paraguay, Venezuela and Chile.

The head of the metropolitan police brigade on human trafficking, Giordano Lanzarini, said officials last year detected that children less than 5 years old — offspring of Haitians who are Chilean citizens because born here — were being detected by immigration officials in other nations while heading toward the U.S....

In the past couple of years, there has been a large influx of Chinese workers, primarily businessmen, into Chile. Having one of the older trading relationships of South America with China, Chile is extending its trade into that of human capital. Chile has welcomed China’s educated workers into every sector of operations, especially in the agriculture and minerals extraction industries.

Hoping to tap into one of Latin America’s best performing and vast countries (aside from Argentina and Uruguay), Chinese workers are taking this opportunities as a chance to create a food source for their country. As Chile has a great amount of fertile land, great for crops and livestock, the Chinese are looking to arrange deals with the country to have sanctions of free land for the sole purpose of making produce to export to China.

If the Chileans give China ‘free land’ Chili can be sure that no income or jobs will be derived from that. China will send over even more ‘colonist’ workers and they will grow and export that food with no involvement from Chili people. They’ll act the same as they did towards the observatory they built and then prevented Chilean scientists from using it or the mines in Peru that employ few locals.

In many small towns, even in the Sierras, you can see large trucks owned by Chinese mining companies rumbling down the narrow streets. Their presence indicates the large-scale direct Chinese investments going into Peru

After refreshing our memories with that data, it might not be far from the mark to say that China is behind the invasion.
- For racist reasons - eliminating undesirables that Chinese look down on, from the native SoAm populations they’ve found so very compliant to colonialism
- soft war ggainst the US (and to an extent, the not compliant enough yet) Mexico

we are being suckered not only by countries complaining oh poor us, we need American dollars to fight the migration problem, but those claiming they’re actually doing anything about it when doing anything about it would displease their Chinese masters
