McDonald’s is planning to cut its greenhouse gas emissions so that the company is net-zero emissions by the year 2050.
The restaurant shared on Monday that it is partnering with the nonprofit organization Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to help revamp its climate change focus and meet the new goal.
“We believe we have both a privilege and a responsibility to help lead on issues that matter most in communities – and there is no issue more urgent globally and of impact locally than protecting our planet for generations to come,” McDonald’s President and CEO Chris Kempczinski said in a statement.

Why don’t they want to contribute to plant’s growth?
Methane infused shakes and co2 less soda. Everything stinks while you’re drinking flat soda.
It will be soylent green and you will like it.
Who cares. The only thing I ever liked was their breakfast sandwiches, and since they’ve stopped serving breakfast all day, there’s no reason to ever go there.
I’ll continue my familial boycott of McDonald’s.

Yeah? How they gonna transport their products? Keep,their lights and electric going? What is gonna run their computers? Where Wil, they get their food co trainers and plastic Utensils from? What will their cash registers run on?
The worst part is that when the earth remains just fine for at least another guaranteed 1007 plus years (we still have to go through tribulation and the 1000 year reign of Christ), the left will claim that they saved the planet because they reduced their emissions by 10%. The fact is even if they increased their emissions 1000% the earth will still be fine for a guaranteed 10007 plus years
Maybe they are going to start burning their own french fry oil to heat their stores.
How is it that so many supposedly hard-nosed CEOs are such squishes? I see this all the time watching golf, where the CEO or public affairs spokesman of the sponsoring corporation bloviates about all of the left-wing social justice and environmental projects they are “partnering” with.

I used to love Wendy’s but the last two times I ate there i bot sick as a dog (likely just because of the one location-)
Well, so long as Burger King doesn’t follow suit. I like the grilling smell of beef whenever I’m nearby a Burger King. Great burgers but their fries, unfortunately, suck.
A real estate crash... zero emissions.
