All those things are true, but it doesn’t make them a good ally. It makes them opportunistic.
And as for “hey, we spy on them too”, there is one huge difference. They never pay our bills.
If we spy on them, that’s fine and we are watching our investment. If they spy on us, they are treacherous ingrates.
And remember Jeffery Epstein... Mossad connected. They aren’t enemies, but they are like paying someone to be a friend... don’t ever trust them too much. And make them earn that money.
I don’t trust any other nation explicitly.
Israel is problematic at times. I’m not going to deny it.
So what do we do? Should we stop sending any funds or
allowing loan guarantees on their military purchases?
If we do that, Israel could just as easily look for
another large nation it can trust. I think it is already
playing footsies with China. I think it’s suicidal to
allow China access or their own port there.
Look, I think it’s idiotic for us to allow it at Long
Beach and San Francisco.
Some folks don’t think we should support Israel. I think
it’s okay that we do.
