I tried to buy a standing rib roast , 3.85 pounds, yesterday and it was over $100.
I said no thanks.
We are not poor, but that is a ridiculous price, for a cut of meat I used to buy twice a year.
Saw rib eyes $18.78/lb. WTAH?
I just want stew meat....or pot roast.....I love a good rib eye but I can save that for special occassions.
“You are not going to eat beef in the future — I one hundred percent guarantee it.”
“We are not poor, but that is a ridiculous price, for a cut of meat I used to buy twice a year.”
hey, looks like the dude is right!
Awhile back I went to Kentucky fried chicken and wanted just two pieces of chicken, some fries (which they. O longer serve now for some odd reaso ), and a drink. The woman said “that will be $22 (and change).
I said “can you repeat that please? That seems awful high for just two pieces of cnicken”
She then went on to say “yes, sorry about that,, but the price has gone up lately for chicken”.
Had I been thinking faster, I would said “ miss, I just bought a whole chicken for under $4 at the grocery store” bUT instead I just had her cancel my order.
I have one steak in my freezer that cost $27!!!!
