WASHINGTON—The race for Wyoming’s single U.S. House district has pitted two of the biggest names in Republican politics against one another: both of the party’s living former presidents.
Former President George W. Bush’s first campaign event of the 2022 midterms will be a fundraiser to support Rep. Liz Cheney, the Wyoming Republican who is among former President Donald Trump’s top targets to unseat. The fundraiser will be held next month in Dallas, according to a copy of an invitation viewed by The Wall Street Journal.
Ms. Cheney is a daughter of Mr. Bush’s vice president, Dick Cheney, and is one of the most outspoken critics of Mr. Trump, whom she has blamed for instigating the riot in the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, when his supporters attempted to block certification of the 2020 election results.
Her criticism of Mr. Trump and his false claims that his critics stole the election from him led her Republican House colleagues to oust her from party leadership in May.
Mr. Trump endorsed Harriet Hageman, one of Ms. Cheney’s Republican challengers, earlier this month. Mr. Trump has called Ms. Cheney a “warmongering fool” and a “horrible human being.”

Notice the bias and editorial lie by the WSJ. This is what goes for ‘journalism’ these days.
If I were a betting girl my money would be on Trump. It’s Wyoming, primaries are base elections, and Trump’s hold on the base is much stronger than Cheney’s or Bush’s. The only thing that could save Cheney is a crowded primary and that is looking less and less likely.
Now that swamp creature W has equated January 6th with 9/11 I only see him pulling votes from Rats,living and dead.

Need to oust the RINOs at the State level too. If it wasn’t for them, the Steal never would have happened. They let Sec of States, governors, election boards change the election rules. That’s supposed to be the State Legislators’ job.
Same with the underlying structure of the GOP. All these Precinct committee people that elect the Delegates and have a lot of say about who makes it into the primaries. Those committee people that are elected as state leaders get to vote for the national GOP leaders, as in Ronna ROMNEY McDaniels. Those committee people vote every two years so it wouldn’t take long to be voting on national leadership. Imagine replacing Ronna with someone like, oh I don’t know, Donald Trump Jr.

It needs to happen in every State, even the blue ones because they do still have a GOP who at the State leadership level get to vote for the national leadership. That includes the Chairman/woman but also the treasurer. MAGA people could hold the purse strings, database of registered repubs. They could defund the RINOs by not spending a dime on their campaigns. Most would quit before spending their own money like Trump did.
