DEL RIO, Texas — Governor Greg Abbott ordered the Texas Department of Public Safety and National Guard to use vehicles to create a miles-long barrier to stop the flow of mostly Haitian migrants from crossing the Rio Grande. The vehicle barrier, along with the recently constructed Texas border fencing, effectively blocked the illegal crossings and enabled Border Patrol officials to reduce the population of the Del Rio migrant encampment.

I posted this article, which was published today, in answer to those here who have slammed the Governor of Texas for, in their view, doing nothing. Well this is not only something, it is essentially doing the Feds’ job for them in defiance of Biden and the Dems.

It won’t embarrass the ruling elite in Washington to pick up the mantle, though. They’re marching to an opposite drummer. So hopefully this Texan effort will expend and more similar efforts launched in additional states. It’s our DIY time since “our” govt refuses to do it for us.

I agree. If they could somehow park cars from one end of the border to the other, it would slow down illegals on the move for maybe 15 minutes.
I guess Texas deserves some credit for trying something. But so far, this looks more like an expensive PR stunt than anything else.
The photo is little more than a prop or a theater production. Behind them, in the interior of Texas and beyond, there are millions of illegal aliens running all over the place. And now we know most of these people are going to be seeded throughout the country. Same old story.
Outside of Trump, for many decades the government has put on one big con job and hoodwinked America as they’ve rolled out the red carpet for tens of millions of illegals, while forcing Americans at gun point to pay for all of it. Their ultimate motives here are hard to miss.

Yes but the the minute the Gov calls the NG to the border Biden will Federalize them.
Plus there are just not enough LEOs and NG to patrol the border.
