The young son of a New Jersey cop who died of COVID-19 asked his mom for only one gift for his 12th birthday Sunday — to get vaccinated.
Glen Ridge widow Alice Roberts revealed that her son made the request to honor his father, Charles, who died May 11, 2020, early on in the pandemic and before vaccines were available.
“My son turns 12 on Sunday. All he has asked for his birthday is a COVID-19 vaccine. You see, his father died of COVID-19 on May 11, 2020, and the pandemic has ruled all of our lives since March of 2020,’’ Alice wrote in a poignant column for NJ.com.

There is every reason to doubt the sincerity of pro-vaxx frauds like Dr. Anthony Fauci. And there is every reason to doubt the sincerity of anti-vaxx frauds like Dr. Sherri Tenpenny.
But there is no reason to doubt the sincerity of this poor kid, or his mom. I hope that G_d grants them the wisdom to make the right decisions.
sincerity of this poor kid, or his mom? did the kid consider if his dad had any of the known health issues that would make covid harder to beat? sure just 12 years old but likely got internet and the mom sounds like a real non thinker if she is putting this out there instead of educating her kid to research and learn from this loss of dad.
Anytime a family or relative dies, i try to learn more and make smarter choices not run to popular choice of media and bought/controlled medical care.
sure they are in pain of loss, but it’s no good reason to think they are sincere, more like non thinking fear/shock.

Someone can be both sincere and non-thinking. There are many scoundrels and many fools involved in this whole Covid issue. But there are also many confused innocents. Those latter folks deserve sympathy.
That’s all I’m saying.
And I surely don’t mean to direct any of my comments to you personally, b4. I’m just making a general comment, based on all the fussing I’ve seen so far on this issue.
Sad their using a grieving child as a propaganda piece. His mom blames Trump for her husband’s death - says Trump spoke blithely “don’t let it ruin your life”. You see, we SHOULD let Covid ruin our lives. *smh*
