Chinese warships could “soon” show up near Hawaii and Guam, according to China’s state-run newspaper “Global Times.”
The newspaper said warships could be on their way following claims that the US Navy challenged international waters near Beijing.
The Global Times’ editor-in-chief, Hu Xijin, tweeted: “Hopefully when Chinese warships pass through the Caribbean Sea or show up near Hawaii and Guam one day, the US will uphold the same standard of freedom of navigation. That day will come soon.”
The US Navy responded to the tweet, saying they continue to uphold freedom of navigation and pointed out that Chinese spy ships have sailed freely near Hawaii in the past.

And it's light years away from sustaining combat operations for 100 consecutive days 7-10,000 miles from home.

With Biden in the office of the President, I expect to see Red Chinese ships making a port call in Hawaii.
And later conducting joint combat drills with Biden's navy aimed at intimidating the Chinese government on Taiwan.
They showed up off the coats of Alaska the other day. Maybe California is next.

Everything printed in China is done for political effect. And anything said about military intentions is said for intimidation value. If they are going to do something, they just do it. There’s nothing to be gained by forewarning your opponent.

You mean attack subs ... boomers are missile trucks, tracking enemy subs is not their job.
It’s all intended for internal consumption, they aren’t evening trying to intimidate us. What they want is their people to think they are intimidating us.
Chinese culture only respect the strong. The CCP postures how strong they are to convince their people that they should follow the CCP.
