I too have wondered how all these thousands of people reported infected with the delta variant were diagnosed. Differentiating between these genetic varients to me would imply very sophisticated testing not the standard testing that is being done in parking garages and shopping malls and processed by the thousands in some unknown factory labs. The delta variety may exist but it strains credibility that apparently without any development of a new test we are able to diagnose thousands of new cases of this varient. This whole testing to identify new cases which is then used to whip up panic to me is suspect. I know many people that were deemed COVID positive who had no symptoms and did not get sick during their quarantine. How accurate is this test and how many false positives are being reported? Who is processing all these COVID tests and are they credible? Too bad we do not have a media that would ask these questions and demand answers. In the end I suspicion that we will find out that COVID testing has been a fool’s errand if not an outright scam.
