9/9 and 9/11, 20 years later - - We may never know the full contours of the whole riddle inside an enigma when it comes to 9/11 and related issues

It’s impossible not to start with the latest tremor in a series of stunning geopolitical earthquakes.

Exactly 20 years after 9/11 and the subsequent onset of the Global War on Terror (GWOT), the Taliban will hold a ceremony in Kabul to celebrate their victory in that misguided Forever War.

Four key exponents of Eurasia integration – China, Russia, Iran and Pakistan – as well as Turkey and Qatar, will be officially represented, witnessing the official return of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. As blowbacks go, this one is nothing short of intergalactic.

The plot thickens when we have Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid firmly stressing “there is no proof” Osama bin Laden was involved in 9/11. So “there was no justification for war, it was an excuse for war,” he claimed.

Only a few days after 9/11, Osama bin Laden, never publicity-shy, released a statement to Al Jazeera: “I would like to assure the world that I did not plan the recent attacks, which seems to have been planned by people for personal reasons (…) I have been living in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and following its leaders’ rules. The current leader does not allow me to exercise such operations.”

On September 28, Osama bin Laden was interviewed by the Urdu newspaper Karachi Ummat. I remember it well, as I was commuting non-stop between Islamabad and Peshawar, and my colleague Saleem Shahzad, in Karachi, called it to my attention......

Pepe does not think the American narrative holds water - but Pepe does have an interesting (with some obvious flaws) take on it all - elpadre

“..This is a geopolitical Ouroboros for the ages. 9/11 used to be the foundation myth of the 21st century – but not anymore. It has been displaced by blowback: the imperial debacle allowing for the return of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to the exact position it was 20 years ago.

We may now know that the Taliban had nothing to do with 9/11. We may now know that Osama bin Laden, in an Afghan cave, may not have been the master perpetrator of 9/11. We may now know that the assassination of Massoud was a prelude to 9/11, but in a twisted way: to facilitate a pre-planned invasion of Afghanistan.

And yet, like with the assassination of JFK, we may never know the full contours of the whole riddle inside an enigma. As Fitzgerald immortalized, “so we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past,” probing like mad this philosophical and existential Ground Zero, never ceasing from asking the ultimate question: Cui Bono?”

Try as one might, it is difficult to predict the future every time.
I do know this. We should have seen this coming and would have but for the rotten traitors such as Gorelick. Instead of being hanged, as would have been just and proper, she was put in charge of the investigation into the lapses that allowed 9/11 to happen. This allowed her to white wash over her negligence, and willful treachery, with an assist from the MSM.

Reveaking bio from Wikipedia:

Pepe Escobar (born 1954) is a Brazilian journalist and international policy analyst[1][2] whose column “The Roving Eye” for Asia Times Online[3] regularly discusses the multi-national “competition for dominance over the Middle East and Central Asia.”[4]

Escobar is also a frequent commentator on Russia’s RT and Sputnik News, telling The New Republic in 2012 that he was not troubled by its Russian sponsorship:[5]

I knew the Kremlin involvement, but I said, why not use it? After a few months, I was very impressed by the American audience. There are dozens of thousands of viewers. A very simple story can get 20,000 hits on YouTube. The feedback was huge.

Escobar is also a regular contributor to Al Jazeera.[6][7]

Escobar has focused on Central Asia, Russia the Middle East, and Iran since the late 1990s.[8]

Escobar has reported extensively from Afghanistan.[9] In August 2000, Escobar and two other journalists were arrested by the Taliban, and accused of photographing a soccer match.

From 20 years in retrospect, we should investigate who has benefited and who has been harmed.

Always, always - Cui bono?

For decades, I have often blessed our immediate heirs, those down stream and friends with my great wisdom.

Invariably, they get back to me, the best advice I ever gave them was and still is: "Always, ask Cui Bono?

One has that ? on the back of his name and title sign on his desk. Cui Bono? is on his smart phone, when he answers or makes a call on it. It is on the inside cover of his little personal appt/address wallet. "Always, ask Cui Bono?"

It wouldn’t matter if we had responded with 6-to-8 well-spaced small nukes across the entire M.E., Iran, and Pakistan...

Instead, our surrender has led to moslem terror-training facilities being built the 9/11 site...

Little wonder that the country caved in to communism so easily during the years subsequent to 9/11...

The former United States turned into a modern-day replica of Vichy France...
Surrender at any cost...

The USA did not “fight a war” since 9/11/2001.
We made warlike maneuvers, killed a lot of muslims and killed a lot of American Service men and women, never intending to “win” anything. Not territory, not people, not natural resources, and not money. We fought for nothing and came away with a big price tag for our troubles.
Most of the price tag money, taxpayer money, went to the Arms Industry and to the Aircraft companies, etc, the “Industrial/Military Complex.” Some of that money was filtered and distributed to the politicians who ordered the war. This “kick-back” money is safely in bank accounts, foreign and domestic.
When will we ever learn?

A properly managed war makes it rain for a lot of connected people starting from the top down, to each according to his portion.

If someone proposes to make the rain stop forever, they better bring a hell of a big stick.
