It's why there is all this delay! And, it means they are looking for individuals and working off their list of everyone they regard as their enemies. They WANT those individuals (and others) who they think worked with the US.
They are settling old scores and many will suffer! You can bet that on the 31st, the Taliban will blow the whole airport - everyone in or near it, rather than risk one of the people on THEIR list getting out!

Yup. That’s the only thing in play. Focus groups and internal polls are being conducted today at a high tempo. Once Biden is clearly a strong net negative for the D’s in 2022, he’s likely gone.
Trouble is, this is like the Shriver situation back in 1972, except worse. The top of ticket going down for dementia makes the whole party look stupid. So they have to balance that vs having Joe Biden as their flagship. OTOH, the media will cover for them more than it did in the 70’s when Shriver went down.
Don’t know how that balances out. There’s not really a good decision to be made here.
