I don’t think they do. These vaccines create the “spike protein” part of covid, so your body makes antibodies to attack just that... in my opinion, they aren’t as good as the antibodies your body makes when exposed to the real thing.

Quite possible. I put it in the better-than-nothing category. Effectiveness in Mass data is very good (10k breakthrough in 4.4 million vaccinated)

They are the same antibofies produced by getting COVID. If COVID long haul is caused by those antibodies, then the vaccine could produce long haul as well. Again, it's a real world tradeoff. We can't expect perfection.
