In a late night vote on Tuesday, the US Senate passed an amendment that prohibits federal funds from going to pre-K programs and K-12 schools that teach critical race theory. Every single Democrat, except one – West Virginia senator Joe Manchin – voted against the legislation, which passed 50-49.
The measure was sponsored by Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton, who has been one of the leaders in the fight against the anti-American propaganda for over a year. Its passage effectively bans CRT from being taught in schools until after 12th grade, when students are free to pay for the indoctrination themselves. HUGE WIN: Anti-CRT legislation passed by Senate @TomCottonAR : “My amendment will ensure federal funds will not be used to indoctrinate kids, as young as pre-K, to hate America.” ☝ https://t.co/Jxyk26pR5M — Julian Conradson (@JCConradson) August 11, 2021 Cotton released a statement on his amendment:

This shows how America and Americans are in a world of communist hurt.
American Marxism... by Mark Levin...
"Mark shines a light on all the crazy that perpetuates the headlines of today’s media: BLM, Antifa, CRT, “The Squad”, Activists, Socialists, and every sort of Equity you can think of. These have become a collective identity and class consciousness that is the foundation of “American Marxism”. It’s insidious."
Doesn’t sound veto proof
What a damn mess the USA is in. Biden and these socialists, plus every politician is owned. Add all are AFGE members.
Fight Like Hell.
Now on record..........as if they care.
We are not voting our way out of this.
The ersatz opposition party are just Assistant Democrats anyway.
Some Obama judge will rule it Unconstitutional.
Sadly they will just change the name and do it anyway.
The House needs to pass it and then Biden still needs to sign it.
These will never happen so a judge will never hear the case.
Nor Pelosi proof.
I bet you suck the light out of a room when you walk in. :)
You are right, of course. On record, veto, fail. It’s the only way you get all of the Republican Senate voting the same way. It’s campaign advertisement material.
Probably one of those non-binding resolutions that do nothing.
Republicans can hold together on meaningless nonsense. On record, LOL.
Republicans are on record destroying the United States this week. Republicans are on record ignoring voter fraud. Republicans are on record letting a demented old fool’s lackeys run the country. Republicans are record for almost as many evil things as the Democrats.
Gutless, spineless cowards or corrupt idiots, take your pick.
Patriots need to stop paying unconstitutional taxes to the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing the following.
Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.
Federal and state lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that proposes an amendment to the Constitution to the states to repeal the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments, but also an amendment to clean up the judiciary.
Next, regarding schools being bullied to push CRT to satisfy requirements for unconstitutional federal funding, please consider the excerpts below.
President Thomas Jefferson had indicated in a State of the Union address that the states would first need to appropriately amend the Constitution in order for Congress to have the specific power to dictate INTRAschool policy, something that the states have never done, therefore no federal power to tax and spend for intrastate schooling.
"10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
“The great mass of the articles on which impost is paid is foreign luxuries, purchased by those only who are rich enough to afford themselves the use of them. Their patriotism would certainly prefer its continuance and application to the great purposes of the public education, roads, rivers, canals, and such other objects of public improvement as it may be thought proper to add to the constitutional enumeration of federal powers [emphases added].” —Thomas Jefferson: 6th Annual Message, 1806."
“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
Justice Joseph Story had also indicated that the states have never expressly constitutionally given the feds the specific power to dictate, regulate, tax and spend in the name of intrastate schooling.
"The power to regulate manufactures is no more confided to congress, than the power to interfere with the systems of education, the poor laws, or the road laws of the states." — Justice Joseph Story, Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2, 1833.
Patriots need to get their respective constitutionally low-information state lawmakers and school administrators up to speed with the constitutional reality that desperate, alleged election-stealing federal Democrats and RINOs are unconstitutionally pushing politically correct CRT by threatening the states with the loss of so-called "federal" funding that is arguably state revenues that the feds stole from the states by means of unconstitutional federal taxes.
(See top of post for bottom line.)
Did I miss something? The Senate has 100 members. 50-49. Who’s missing?
My hope is that young people (I used to be one during the last century) will take note that Rats = communism and form their opinions accordingly.
The headline says …. passed a bill. The body of the story says ….passed an amendment. If it is an amendment, to what bill is it an amendment?
Dems Now on Record Supporting the Marxist Propaganda
Of course because that is who they are communists.
It was an actual amendment to a bill.
