COVID: New restrictions set in - will Israel go into lockdown?

The coronavirus cabinet approved new restrictions on Tuesday night, as senior government members admitted a lockdown in September is not a remote possibility anymore.

Starting August 8, the full green pass system will be in place again (from August 20 also for children under 12), masks will be mandatory in all outdoor gatherings and a vaccinated/recovered parent caring for a child in quarantine under the age of 12 will be demanded to isolate as well.

In addition, government offices will work with only 50% of their workforce in person, and the private sector will be encouraged to do the same.

Moreover, more stringent criteria to place countries under travel ban or travel warning will be formulated, leaving a very limited group of nations to be visited freely by Israelis without the need to quarantine upon their return regardless of their immunization status.

“The Delta epidemic is extremely contagious, and is spreading all over the world,” Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said. “Avoid crowds, and get vaccinated – now. Otherwise, there will be no choice but to impose more severe restrictions, including a lockdown.”

….yes, but time is showing the opposite: vaccine failure…..but no worries, years of boosters are being planned….they will fail also… then square one- HCL and Ivermectin….

It makes a person wonder how long before hey wise up to the use of HCQ, Ivermectin and zinc etc. The only problem I can see with these is that they don’t trigger and bad side effects or cause people to die.

Secular Israelis seem to lockdown at the drop of a feather, resisted only by the orthodox Jews. If they don’t stop believing their fearmongering public health establishment, they will self-imprison whenever it identifies new variants to justify its power.

Certainly hoping for the latter. It would be very concerning to see a significant increase in deaths, for multiple reasons.

Indeed, it is. But what's at that page doesn't match what you posted. It is already showing a slight up-tick in deaths. And as a premier member of the branch-Covidian cult, you know quite well that deaths trail spikes by up to two weeks.

Let's agree to pray that in this case, the deaths never come to pass. But the vaccinated case-spike in Israel is happening. There's no denying it.

I too hope that is the case. But if it isn’t, panic will ensue, mostly due to the horrible messaging from people pushing the vax - as if it will make you bulletproof and impervious to disease.
