The CSIS Commission on Strengthening America’s Health Security will host a fireside chat with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Chief Medical Advisor to the President and Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Moderated by J. Stephen Morrison, Senior Vice President and Director of the CSIS Global Health Policy Center, the discussion will examine the administration’s signature initiative, The Antiviral Program for Pandemics, which dedicates $3.2 billion to speed development of antivirals for COVID-19 and other viruses with the potential to become pandemics.
Expanding the repertoire of widely available, effective drug therapies for COVID-19 is critical for minimizing the impact of the pandemic as countries contend with emerging variants and incomplete vaccine rollouts. Dr. Fauci will discuss the genesis, goals and structure of this landmark investment, the place which key partnerships occupy in the vision, and how the initiative relates to other international efforts to accelerate the research, development and deployment of new therapies.

Speaking at the Center for Strategic and International Studies on Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci inadvertently hinted at why moving the goalposts on herd immunity is important to the Biden Administration's strategy for mandating vaccines. Because now once the FDA grants final approval for the jabs (already a foregone conclusion), it will give businesses and colleges the green light to start mandating vaccinations for workers and patrons alike.
Now that 70% of adults have been vaccinated, the government is only going to continue ramping up its campaign. "I'd settle for 70% or 80%, but I'd love to see 90%," Dr. Fauci said.
In terms of how it might inspire more people to get vaccinated, Dr. Fauci insisted that FDA approval would be a "game-changer" for the vaccine (Despite survey data showing more than half of those who haven't been vaccinated are firmly skeptical of vaccines).
Despite what the administration has said about giving people the freedom of choice on vaccines, Dr. Fauci revealed that the Biden Administration is depending on vaccine mandates to coerce 100% of Americans to accept the vaccine.
The only way to get to this level is via local mandates, Dr. Fauci pointed out. And that's exactly what people should expect. "

So, looks to me like we're all going to get the vaccine or they're going to make us wish we had taken it.
Either way, more will be dying from this man made virus. Some for their refusal to be vaccinated.
Ironic isn't it that it was probably developed with the help of our own government using our tax dollars to do so and in collaboration with Communist Chinese and billionaire oligarchs to head-off just such a calamity (?).
I'm going to avoid catching the virus or taking the vaccine. Though I may have already had a mild case of COVID. I do need to get myself checked for any antibodies, however.

Nom matter it is still our choice. It’s no one in gov’s business if want to put myself at risk. People who are afraid of this bug need to get the vax and stfu.
