My guess is the restaurant owners will pay lip service to this nonsense but mostly ignore it. There are nowhere nesr enough inspectors to check even the tiniest fraction of eaterys in NYC.

Deblasio just banned 70% of Blacks and 60% of Hispanics from NYC restaurants.
This may not be against the law in how it is written, but it is nothing short of blackmail.
It would not be a HIPAA violation for an employer to ask an employee’s healthcare provider for proof of vaccination. It would however be a HIPAA violation for the employee’s healthcare provider to disclose that information to the employer unless the individual had provided authorization to do so. So if the only way to get the information is to force the employee to make it available through their provider, so they can make money to eat and house themselves and their families, then that’s the blackmail part.

Here we go. Vaccine passports in some form are now taking hold. It could well go nationwide.
And my rhetorical question is, why do we have to be able to prove we don’t have Covid? Why don’t we have to prove we don’t have AIDS, or cancer, or any other medical condition?
