You seem to be completely ignorant of the historic events of the past few years.

The cops couldn’t even stop the masses from looting stores at will. And that was over fabricated ginned up BS like police brutality. Lemmme educate you, if you cut off food from people you’ll see the ugly like you’ve never seen in your life.

Got it, I understand your point, thank you. And none of the measures I speculated about would affect that demographic. They don’t have jobs, or bank accounts to speak of, or even working credit cards most of the time. So fair enough.

I just don’t think that the Biden folks are talking about mandates for Compton.

I think that they’re taking about the red states and counties. I would like to believe that a mandate would be a bridge too far for the folks in Trump country, and would trigger mass civil disobedience. But I suspect that those people, who are my people, are still to comfortable. They have too much to lose. I suspect that the numbers would be tiny, and that the “soft” measures described earlier would be sufficient to keep the vast majority in line.

But you could be right. I hope you are.

I disagree that the local police couldn’t have stopped the rioting last year, or even the rampant shoplifting in places like California. I can only speak for the LA area, but it was well within the LAPD/LASD’s capacity to keep the peace. They were stood down by our politicians. And two actual, no kidding communist DA’s — Chesa Boudin in SF and George Gascon here in LA.

I don’t think that the feds would be as circumspect in the unlikely event a few red counties decided to get spicy.

You clearly have a short memory and you seem to know little about LA. You mention it won't work in Compton? I went through the biggest, most deadly, costly riots in modern American history, right there in the LA area in '92. Wide spread looting and death all over the LA area, west side, east side, south side and into the north. Beverly Hills into Santa Monica and into Long Beach, all the way to San Berdo. Even with the armed guys on the roof tops, Korea town was looted out and burned out.

The cops bailed out and ran for their lives, because they were outnumbered 5,000 to 1. They spend 3 days protecting themselves. I could go on and on.

You need to learn about recent history.

If only we could get this vaccine to our friends in Afghanistan? I feel we are letting them down as a people.

Just ignore it, just say no. I’d have lived a full life if I never see or hear about Covid vax and masks and mandates ever again. Let the left exhaust itself with this stupidity. Just ignore and go about your life.
