The chief executive of MyPillow Inc., one of Fox News’s big advertisers, said he is pulling his ads from the network after a disagreement over a proposed commercial.
Mike Lindell said he made the decision after Fox News declined to run a commercial linked to his efforts to promote his claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Security and election officials have said there is no proof of widespread election fraud.
“It’s unfortunate Mr. Lindell has chosen to pause his commercial time on FOX News given the level of success he’s experienced in building his brand through advertising on the number one cable news network,” Fox News said in a statement.
.... Snip....
Since the 2020 election, Mr. Lindell has emerged as one of the most prominent proponents of unproven theories that the election was stolen from Mr. Trump through widespread fraud. Voting-machine maker Dominion Voting Systems sued Mr. Lindell and MyPillow in February for defamation, seeking more than $1.3 billion in damages. He has countersued.

They went from o evidence to no proof. And that sentence about security and election officials, who are the security officials they are referring to?
The liberal Murdoch children don’t need the money. They’re enjoying too much their elitist liberal friends mocking the working class people.
Good. Mike Lindell is absolutely correct.
Fox news continually sides with the left. Even the opinion shows are banned from saying certain words (Soros).
Wow, that’s pretty bad when Fox won’t let their loyal sponsor run an ad.
Stupid move. He’s lost so many spots already - he can’t afford to lose Fox.
...... More evidence that Mike is an extremely Principled man .... I believe this was his biggest advertising contract ........ Of course ..... I’m sure he will probably save a ton of money not advertising on FOX .......
Good for Mike! Fox is just as fake as the rest, but worse because at least the rest don’t even try and pretend
Actually, if that was indeed the bone of contention, I have to say Fox was in the right. I’m shocked to be taking their side, at least on this point.
If Mike was insisting on including data not relevent to the sale of his merchandise, I think any network would want to edit that miscellaneous stuff out. Stick to your product.
Were MyPillow to air that ad showing a promo for the event concerning election fraud, Fox would appear to be endorsing by default. They don’t need to or want to be put in that position. So on this, Mike is NOT right.
Cool your jets, Mike. Don’t create a Trojan Horse, then get upset when called on it.
Peruse later.
Why not? Now he doesn’t have to pay them. Not that whomever still watches Faux would buy or not buy a MyPillow based on an ad.
No; Lindell promoting his cause is independent of his product pitch. Faux is censoring him.
This is not good for many Fox programs. At the height of Tucker being boycotted, almost every commercial was for My Pillow.
When virtually all other sponsors bailed on Fox’s opinion programs at various times, Lindell always stepped up to sponsor them.
Everyone should be walking away from Fix. Good for Mike.
OANN and NESWMAX may be in Mike’s future?
Exactly. Fox was in on The Steal.
When even FoxNews isn’t far enough to the right for Trump supporters
I don’t know what the mypillow guy expects, but Fox has to keep at least one foot in the door of reality to stay relevant
Amazing how they can determine this with zero investigations into the hundreds of sworn allegations that exist, isn't it?
Good riddance. I’m glad. Those commercials are obnoxious and Lindell is a kook.
Well I’d say he’s probably got just about every FOX viewer possible already. Diminishing returns to keep 100 ads a day on that channel.
