Gov. to state workers: Get vaccine or prepare for lots of tests (Dem NM Gov threatens workers)

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham said New Mexico will require state employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or face regular testing as the state endures a spike in cases driven by the more-contagious delta variant of the disease.

She signed an executive order on Thursday.

The governor said in a news release that she is also evaluating whether to mandate vaccinations as a condition of employment in certain high-risk settings.

“Right now, it’s very simple: Get a vaccine, or else you will be tested,” Lujan Grisham said in a statement. “There will be no quarter for this virus within state government offices. I will not tolerate any unnecessary risk within the workforce under my authority. And I strongly encourage other New Mexico government agencies and private sector employers to consider doing the same.”

(Why is it that the Dems ignore those who have antibodies from a previous infection and are now immune? Something to do with control maybe?)

Thank you. Meant to include that in my comment but pushed "Post" early. But in any case, it's so obvious to those of us who know that control is what Dems do, an answer isn't really needed.

And when the costs of the tests starts to go up and up and up, and becomes cost prohibitive, then what?

Who gets tested? Only those that haven’t received the shot? What about all the folks that have received the shot and are showing positive results?

Or, if someone with no symptoms pops positive and has to stay home for the required two weeks, then what?

When someone that has already been vaccinated comes up positive with COVID, then what?

More nonsense from the Left because they never think outside their little boxes. Idiots can’t see past the end of their noses.

She knows she will not be re-elected so she’s being punitive and following her Lib leadership. 80% of New Mexicans are supposedly vaxed and herd immunity is reached at about 70% so she’s just flexing what little muscle she has between her ears. They don’t care about immunity. You never hear the narrative being about being immune.

It’s ALWAYS about being vaxed, immune or not.

That tells me there’s something about the vax that they want in me that I don’t.
