President Joe Biden endorsed coronavirus vaccine mandates on Thursday, using some of his strongest rhetoric to date to encourage private companies to require employees to get the vaccine.
“In addition to providing incentives to encourage vaccination, it’s time to impose requirements on key groups to make sure they’re vaccinated,” Biden said at an event at the White House, endorsing the idea of private businesses everywhere requiring their employees to get vaccinated.
“I’d like to see them continue to move in that direction,” he said, about private businesses.
He said he asked the Justice Department to issue an opinion on the legality of coronavirus vaccine mandates.
“Local communities can do that, local businesses can do that, it’s still a question whether the federal government can mandate the whole country. I don’t know that yet,” he said.

The genie is out of the bottle. Anyone can download and print blank CDC Covid immunization cards and then fill them out. When you get the shot you are given a card but the info is not entered into a database. So a completed physical card is all you need. It can be legit or fake. No one will ever know.

Exactly. They do nothing to present a balanced presentation of the risks and benefits. Even talk about the “delta” us not based on comparison to last year’s numbers.
My company has been seeing some employee pressure for mandatory vaccines. My answer has been the same since the vax became available: we will not now, or ever, make that mandatory.
The state recently required that we ask people their status, and record the answers. I guess this is as good a hill as any to die on, so we decided we just going to ignore this nonsense from here on out. We’ll see if we get sued or shut down, but we’re not going along with this.
It’s just going to reinforce antivaxx paranoia and make things worse
