Sydneysiders have been warned police will be cracking down even harder on those who choose to break COVID-19 rules as the state grapples with a record high number of infections.
NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller on Thursday said police were clamping down to "get us out of the lockdown sooner" and made a formal request to the Federal Government for assistance from the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
Earlier on Thursday, before making the ADF request, Commissioner Fuller said he wouldn't hesitate to call on defence if it was needed...

I’ve talked with some folks from Australia. The youth are all onboard and are actually angry at America and other countries with loose restrictions. They blame us for their situation. Meanwhile, their government is going full totalitarian, but it’s everyone else’s fault, right?

I’m not sure what to say but 15-thousand came out onto the streets in Sydney last Saturday to protest.
I expected the cops to ratchet up towards the end of the week in anticipation of another protest this Saturday.
They are meeting my expectation.
NSW Police are a statewide force of 17-thousand plus officers.
I expect them to pull in a big chunk of their officers on Sydney to stamp out any possible protest event Saturday.

Republics require work and constant vigilance. Today’s youth just want Internet access and a guaranteed income. Of course I know this isn’t a blanket statement, but the youth who are lambasting freedom of choice are becoming louder.

Are the Aussies not vaccinated? They would be better served by a massive vaccination effort. However, when the citizens have long ago been disarmed and only the government has guns the government can darn well do what it wants.
The idiot Aussies gleefully gave up their guns and this was the predictable outcome with an unaccountable police state on the cusp of dictatorship.
