companies like Google, Facebook and Apple are invested in covid (following app is Apple & Google):
26 July: Daily Mail UK: ‘Covid app must be scrapped once pandemic eases,’ says privacy tsar
by James Robinson
In a stern warning, Information Commissioner Elizabeth Denham said ministers must ‘decommission’ the app once its use is over and avoid developing it into a more permanent feature of British life.
Ministers had initially wanted to build a version of the app that would collect anonymised data on users on a single large NHS database - a plan which was dropped after switching over to a version built by ***Apple and Google...
The sheer number of workers being forced into isolation - even if they never end up having Covid - has sparked fears of a disruption to the food supply chain and empty supermarket shelves in some areas...
The Government on Saturday said in a statement that an expected initial extra 200 testing sites would be opened so that daily contact testing could be ‘rolled out to further critical workplaces in England’...

Just give it another month or two...
Why can’t the tech company employees who don’t want the vaccine continue working from home? Isn’t that what they have all been doing for the past year anyway?
Yeah, they let their true feelings slip through a little there. It is about “resistance” to their edicts, not about health.
Another one of the thousands of reasons to avoid Google and Fakebook like the plague.
“What the hell is a “vice president of people”?”
I’m guessing it is a woke HR department lead.
Meanwhile, here’s something else appearing on the horizon:
You need to wear two masks if you aren’t vaccinated.
It’s fascism. Corporations are government and together they are all-controlling.
That’s there a fungus amongus is not new news.
From 2019...
Google and Fecebook should be held liable for any deaths or injuries resulting from their mandated vaccination.
But now they reportedly have a direct human-to-human version on the loose. That is what they are claiming is new.
No, it won't. I know several Chicago area Google employees who are quitting because of this.
The large multi-national bank I work for is doing forced RTO (Return to Office)for most employees except I.T. and that's causing a corporate-wide revolt also.
After being told people can work from anywhere with many moving out of Hellinois (because it sucks ass living here) they're now being told they have to be in the office? Yeah, that makes sense. We already have issues finding and hiring talented people and the dumbasses who run the bank are just making it worse.
I'm ready to quit myself. Working 200% capacity 10-12 hour days often six days a week since Feb. 2020 I'm just completely burned out. I'm ready to just quit and go stock the shelves at the local WalMart or Home Depot or some other mindless job to pay the bills. I don't need this crap any longer.
I kind of found this interesting when it came across my screen, I wonder if it can be implemented or not?
I’m a 100% remote worker, and I suspect my organization will mandate vaccinations for employees going into an office or traveling on the corporate dime. The problem with that is we get together at HQ roughly once a quarter, and the absence of those of us who are abstaining will speak volumes.
I’m with you, bud. I’m tired of waking up every morning in fear that the announcement may come down, but I’m mentally ready for it. I pray it never does. Bottom line: they’ll have to fire me. I won’t let them have the satisfaction of not giving me a severance.
“It is not fair to parents to be expected to come back to work and sit shoulder-to-shoulder with unvaccinated people who could be carrying a potentially deadly virus.” Wen added.

Which implies the vaccine is ineffective.
A lot of this sort of stuff on social media is bluster and bravado. It might be something to consider, but our legal system is so full of holes and overlap that I suspect most organizations with a halfway competent legal team would be able to work around this.
This needs to be a class action or an action by states’ AGs. I also wonder if larger organizations would be willing to lose 5%-10% of their workforce over such mandates. I know I’m not the only one in my company who’s against this.
I guess they did not get the word from the CDC yesterday that the vaccine takers were spreading the virus too? In other words the vaccine does not work.
Well they will have a bunch a dead people in 3 to 5 years for those that are stupid enough to take it.
Shut down your Facebook and Google Accounts if you have any. They are tyrants and do not deserve any support.
I think they’re making a case that non-vaccinated individuals are “spreaders,” and that the vaccinated could potentially carry COVID by being in proximity to these individuals, thereby spreading it around anyway.
The mental gymnastics required to be a liberal must be exhausting.
