Yes, there were videos showing some protesters were attacking the capital police with metal barricades and sticks. Anyone who attacks law enforcement needs to be held accountable. These violent ones were probably antifa types - not Trump supporters.
However, the vast majority of those inside were demonstrators exercising their First Amendment rights. And should not have been arrested.

From the video coverage it looks like the ones causing the real damage had their faces pretty well covered while the ones just wanting to get a pic of themselves inside the Capitol Building are the ones getting prosecuted. I wonder if Nazi Pelosi forewarned antifa members to cover up?
They should be arrested if they did those things, but are they supposed to be tortured for it? Most of them didn’t do those things. Calling it an insurrection is over the top too. And does that mean the guy who killed Ashli Babbitt -the only one killed, going to be punished? Probably not.

Well, he is a good guy in the sense he has an R in front of his name. But, he’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to politics. So, it’s good that he has some guidance even if from the turtle.
