The United States of America was formed based on the repudiation of hereditary political leadership. And those family names and legacies have seemingly become more important in America in the modern media era.
I say no more Kennedys. No more Bushes. No more Clintons. Etc, etc.
He is not a never Trumper. Both were pro Trump and advocates, so both claim, of the MAGA agenda. DEMONRATS voted for the non Trump endorsed candidate simply because the other candidate was endorsed by Trump and they wanted a propaganda victory, which will prove pyrrihc at best for them.
Would rather the Rats win than hand it to the never Trumpers. Hopefully Republicans don’t turn out. These mistakes hurt more in the long run than having a rat
This was a special election, not a primary. Cross over voting is only an issue in a primary.
I was part of an organized effort to do exactly that here in GA in the early 2000s. We got rid of Cynthia McKinney as the 4th CD GA Rep.
People are not seeing evidence of a stolen election. If the audits turned anything up, it is not being reported by news networks.
The riot on January 6th by a few hundred unhinged hotheads out of a crowd of several thousand peaceful protestors likely destroyed Trump’s legacy.
Better hope for evidence to come forth in the audits, but it is likely that if the R and D swamp denizens could steal an election, then they know how to erase evidence.

Agree; I got a ton of email requests for contributions to Elzey and there wasn’t a liberal word in them. Now, maybe he will turn into a Liz Cheney or Kinzinger but I doubt it. Saw no evidence that he was a never Trumper, whatever. There is also a problem with the spouse taking the deceased seat as though there is some family property right in it.
Trump got the democrat working class and legal immigrant vote...LEGALS hate illegals..

It seems like it would have been an issue here in that dems would have voted for the lesser of two evils. In this case the candidate Trump did not endorse. I’m not saying that everyone shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Maybe just that Trump should have just stayed out of this one because of this reason.
Same here in my Congressional District. Julia Carson died and her Grandson Andre took over. Always wins with 70% vote because of name recognition and he is non white.
fatman: Your comments are 100% correct. Joe Barton still has some pull in district 6 and many voters, I suspect, do not believe in nepotistic candidates. Jake is for-Trump policies and I suspect will be a reliable conservative vote!

I’m not putting any importance on this race because it was won by a Republican after the Democrats were totally shut out in the primary process for this seat. That was the big story just a few weeks ago because the Dems believed they had a shot at a pick up and never even got into the race.
Trumps record of his endorsements being helpful is excellent but no one wins all the time.
