Which is one reason I cannot unferstand why they used this technology. Granted , inducing an immune response is problematic, why didn’t they look for harmless part of covid 19 and use that as antigen? But I think they were being complex and tried to stop the virus from attaching to the cells via attacking the spike protein...maybe they could have injected non infective but antigenic spike protein..it would generate immune response. but not get into cells...float around...cause some damage but be chewed up eventually...hindsight is 20/20.

The dangerous part of the virus is the spikes. They scratch up the inside of veins, arteries and capillaries. This causes clots which induce more build-up of clotting, which destroys organs including the lungs. Clot in the head, stroke. Parts inside the spikes induces more spikes. Clearly, at least to me, the part on the outside is that which was perfected in the lab. Without that spiky outside, the body just kicks the virus to the curb in time with mild symptoms.

Someone smarter than me prove that theory wrong?
