A Hawaii woman employed by the Department of Defense pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to removing classified material, which were discovered in her hotel room during a dinner party in which two foreign nationals were present, while temporarily assigned to the U.S. Embassy in Manila, Philippines.
Asia Lavarello, 31, pleaded guilty to one count of knowingly removing classified information concerning U.S. national defense or foreign relations and retaining it at an unauthorized location, the Justice Department said. ...

Thanks to Gen. Milley Vanilli, this type of subversion/espionage and/or treason is going to increase.
There were very good reasons why, in the past, military and govt internal security laws excluded homosexuals from the military/clearance-needed positions, namely “BLACKMAIL”.
While it did discriminate against loyal Americans in the govt/military, it was based on a valid threat from Soviet agents blackmailing people (Think the “Burgess-McLean” case in the 1950’s. I rather thought the notebook found in the hotel room that was searched while the dinner party was going on that had notes from the embassy documents was much more interesting a story than just documents at a party. The authors lost
the real headline. Secret notebooks can be so intriguing. Not that I expected earth shaking revelations from the Philippine embassy, but still.
No serious prosecutor would what difference, at this point, does it make?
