But, behind it all were a group of bankers that wanted (or needed, from their perspective) to thwart JFK’s plans to shred the CIA (thousand pieces quote) and wrestle back control of the money system.

One of the JFK theories I stumbled across that I found the most intriguing and entirely plausible was that the “magic bullet” was actually from an accidental discharge by one of the Secret Service guys. The SS guy was carrying a rifle, apparently with bad trigger discipline, and when Oswald’s shots came down and everyone scrambled, the SS guy let one fly right into JFK’s head by accident.

I love Occam’s Razor, however, Oswald could not made all the shots, especially the one that EXPLODED JFK’s brain. That was a different bullet than the other shots.
Another thing to consider, who benefited by the JFK’s murder?

This is a possibility. But how terribly unlucky...
If Kennedy had just not allowed the government to unionize he would have been an outstanding president. But that fact destroyed him in my eyes. That is when we started having people who were not elected setting policies, and thus de facto power brokers within the government, who are all but impossible to remove. A.K.A the Deep State.
That is where the lone assassin - Oswald - hypothesis falls apart. He alone could not have done the shooting.
Furthermore, if I remember correctly, he was going to get rid of the CIA. That’s probably why the CIA was behind it.
