They can’t force them to take a bunch of muslims. Germany already tried that and got told to eff off by the Eastern Europeans. Then the Germans and French but mostly the Germans tried to bully them. The Eastern Europeans stuck together and all the Germans could do was huff and puff about it. They couldn’t actually DO a damned thing.

They have and that’s was pisses the EU off. If Poland goes, Hungary and several other Slavic states won’t be far behind. The EU’s southern border is in lousy shape as well with major political and economic issues in Greece, Italy, and Spain. Once the run starts it could go relatively fast.
The don’t get substantial funds from the EU. Germany and France get substantial funds and every one else sucks hind tit. Ask Greece, Italy and Spain. As for Irelan, Ireland succeeded only by ridiculously low corporate tax rates which attracted industry, not EU handouts. The real reason the UK left was the massive tax burden and Germano-Franco centic courts that saw sticking it to the UK as great sport. They knew that Britain would follow every idiotic judgement where as othe EU countries selectively obeyed the law. The EU wants to stick it to Poland as the EU laws are in opposition to a lot of the Polish moral fabric.
I’ve spent the past month in Poland. The way this is being reported is all lies. The Polish Supreme Court isn’t “defying” the EU court, it merely said it’s authority is limited by the Polish Constitution and Polish Law, none of which explicitly grant this authority to the EU courts. So it cannot comply with ay edicts flying down from the EU.
