The GOPe has always been afraid. They are afraid of the media.
The media, more than any other institution, is allowing this double standard. Sure, our government institutions are on board, but they are taking their lead from the media.
Just close your eyes and imagine the insanity that would have ensued if Eric Trump suddenly took up painting and was selling his artwork to anonymous purchasers (aka donors) for hundreds of thousands of dollars and the Trump White House had told them “don’t worry, we won’t tell who the donors are” as if that somehow erases the pay to play potential.
Don’t forget, they shut down Eric Trump’s non-profit charity for which he took no salary in 2015/2016 claiming it represented a conflict of interest yet nobody on their side bats an eye at the “Clinton Foundation” scam that paid for Chelsea’s wedding and even paid for the dress. I bet they raked in millions that day too from attendees.
The media is in charge because they have placed their politics above their profession.
It’s crazy. They call you a conspiracy theorist yet they refuse to address things that are so obvious.

Members of Biden’s transition team already face scrutiny over their close ties to special-interest groups. WESTEXEC/Pine Island are right in the middle of it.

Its Web site previously listed longtime Hunter Biden associate Rob Walker as an adviser but appears to have removed him after his name appeared in two sets of leaked e-mails purportedly showing controversial deals in which the Biden family was involved. Walker is still a major part of the Chinese company owned by the Chinese government Bohai Harvest.
The sincerity of Democrats who sounded alarms will be tested soon enough. Companies like Pine Island are betting that Washington’s revolving door will be fully operational in a Biden administration.
