I’ll bet. I’m sure big boulders fell on Hwy 395 in Walker Canyon and Topaz Lake was sloshing.

California earthquakes and fires. Johnny Carson called it Shake-n-Bake.
Quake and aftershocks are located west of the West Walker River west of the towns of Walker and Coleville. We felt it strongly in the Carson Valley, Nevada around 40 miles north. I fished the West Walker this morning.
Carson Valley rocked as well. We are around 40 miles south. I was actually down in Walker this morning.

Upgraded to 6.0 by USGS at Markleeville in the Carson Valley right on top of my great grandfathers sheep ranch the old Uhalde Ranch.
Yep. And the small cracks allow large groups of black flies to escape from Middle Earth. The sunlight encourages swarming.
I’d hope you’re right, but I think they’re far too infiltrated and infested to do so.

Lake Tahoe is an ancient caldera I unnerstan’. Long valley (around Mammoth Lakes and June Lake) are along 395...is active EQ/volcanic area....

I know that a quake of 5 is I think 10 times larger than for and so on but is it possible you could explain logarithm like to a 5 year old…askin’ for a friend ;)
Think of it as the number of zeros after the 1.
3 vs 4 is 1 larger so 10 times bigger.
3 vs 5 is 2 larger so 100 times bigger.
3 vs 6 is 1000 times bigger.
7 is 10,000 times bigger than a 3.
