SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Former President Donald Trump will be holding a rally at the Sarasota Fairgrounds on July 3. The event is free, but you must reserve tickets via his website.
The rally is co-sponsored by the Republican Party of Florida and Save America. The event will take place at 8 p.m., but doors open at 2 p.m.
You must register for tickets via this website. You may only register up to two tickets per mobile number per event. All tickets are subject to first-come, first-served basis. The fairgrounds are located at 3000 Ringling Blvd.
State Sen. Joe Gruters, who is also the chair of the Florida Republican Party, helped organize the event. In a press release, Gruters stated, “This is where he started off his rallies in Florida in 2016, it’s where he ended his rallies in 2016. He’s coming back to a place that loves him and has always held him in high regard.”

I guess their real reason for doing so is to have people who won’t go, chew up tickets in hopes that he will have less than a full attendance. But I assume that the ticket place will provide provisional tickets to the overflow crowd to ensure that doesn’t happen. 8>)
I think I’ll rewatch last years celebration at Mount Rushmore and record Sarasota.
Did it say the number of tickets being issued was limited? I think since admission is first come first served the tickets will be issued to whomever requests them. This would throw a wrench in the plans of the scumbags who think they can keep attendance down by grabbing a lot of tickets and then not show up.
I do believe that is what they have always done, but didn’t they use that tactic in like Oklahoma I think it was?

By issuing as many tickets as requested and allowing first come first served it prohibits the loons from getting tickets and then not showing up.
I don’t know if they will announce how many tickets were requested since a really huge number might inhibit some folks from going at all.
DeSantis will most likely be there. If Trump and DeSantis stand together on the podium, lefty heads will explode.

I could go but I already committed to producing a RED TURKEY feast that day. However, I will be eating delicious RED TURKEY while watching the rally on the tube.
Well, they did announce that they had over 1,000,00 requests for tickets. It was during Covid (Wuhan Flu) in July of 2020 in Tulsa Oklahoma. So, perhaps that was why not as many people showed up, but it was also revealed that scads of people requested tickets that they purposely had no intention of using. He ended up firing Brad Pascale over it.
I remember that. Pascale announced there were some outrageous number of ticket requests which may have had an impact on turnout. But you are right that the China Virus probably did impact turnout.
