Amy Coney Barrett is another Sandra Day O’Connor.
He and I may be among the few who miss him.
Three conservatives. Three hard leftists. Three Wets i.e. leftists who claim to be conservative. They speak as conservatives but it is not speech that counts. They act in solidarity with the Left.
After Gorsuch authored that bizarre opinion in which he established “transgenderism” as a constitutionally protected right, a number of principles conservatives who were highly motivated to vote in 2016 because of the importance of Supreme Court nominations probably walked away from politics forever.
.
Kavanaugh might as well start sleeping bent over through arguments.
He’s the new Ruth B Ginsburg
‘
i as well
Gorsuch seemed promising at first but he’s not always reliable.
During the more than a year he was on the Court with Kennedy, he was significantly to the left.
Gorsuch is 100% as advertised.
I don’t think after some research that the Supreme Court has ever been a friend of this Republic.
“Six conservative justices” is BS. There are only two bona fide conservatives. That’s it. TWO.
Yup. I recently was asked by a friend how many conservative justices on SCOTUS it took to make new, Constitutional precedents. I answered, “If we have six currently, I guess the real answer is about fifteen or sixteen.”
Yes, libh8ter, we have two.
Yes, it appears to me that there are only two conservative justices on the Supreme Court. The rest are corrupt.
There are two and only two conservative justices on the court. Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. That is it. Neither Barret nor Kavanugh nor Gorsuch can be counted as a conservative.
I warned people about this before, but no one listened, they just cheered.
Those two are out and out frauds But unfortunately we are stuck with them for the foreseeable future.
Gorsuch is WAY to the left of Scalia, and Kavanaugh is to the left of Kennedy.
You forgot Roberts.
I was going to say “Six conservative justices”? Oh, gosh, wow. Who came in while I wasn’t paying attention.
Maybe it means as conservative as good ol’ Roberts.
He’s like an umbrella that works fine except if it rains.
They’re all politicians.
Like musical chairs and someone is going out the side window onto the parking lot below.
What I don't like is the way Rush (of Blessed Memory) once put it:
The conservative label justices nominated by a Republican President may be 50% or even 20% conservative when voting on cases. But the liberal justices since FDR all the way through are rock solid, reliably liberal on the big cases. And we have to compromise later and appoint someone not so conservative next time or they'll reject them for confirmation.
