There are obvious reasons why Twitter and Facebook are prime targets in the Big Tech equation, but for some unfounded reason Apple and Microsoft are near golden-children in conservative circles.
IBM is kinda surprising. If you would have asked me which organization gave a larger percentage of employee contributions to Republicans, IBM or Facebook, I would have picked IBM all day long.
Nope. Not are they more homogeneous in their liberalness, but they’re also given HUGE sums of money.
They shouldn’t be. They’re traitors.
It’s all about HR, the powerful and feared group of women, usually liberal to radical Left, in large corporations these days.
A Conservative wants a job in one of those places they need to be off all social media. If not, their accounts better be nothing but funny animal videos.
Otherwise the liberal witches in HR won’t give them a chance.

My reservation about comparing a company’s employee donations to political parties is this. When you give money to a Democratic politician it immediately looses its value. /semi-sarc

What Facebook contribured “in kind” to Dems cant easily be measured in dollars.
Increasingly, our economic system is Fascism, which is also called Corporatism. It is the marriage of State and non-State-owned Corporations.
Corporations benefit from this system, so they support the politicians that will keep it going.
The “Republicans” they donate to are probably the Romney variety.
My wife works for one of these top 10 companies. She has to tread very lightly and avoid any and all political based conversations. They will terminate you one way or the other if you are known to be conservative.
So, to point, she won’t make political contributions. They check and it can get you put on a layoff list. I suspect the numbers of conservative employees is higher, but they have to keep a low profile and avoid public databases like the FEC.

It is interesting to compare these rankings with the ratings on this site: 2ndVote: exposing corporations and organizations that are funding liberal advocacy.
They give IBM and Facebook both the most liberal (i.e., leftist) ranking.
The Democrats in DC have big plans to get more money from these employees.

Now how would somebody get that data? I don’t recall candidate or party donation sites asking “Where do you work?”
When you make a political contribution you have to disclose your employer.
Really? I don’t ever recall being asked that.
I’d like to find a cloud services provider that is not impossibly woke. Maybe Digital Ocean or Oracle are the closest.
AWS and Google Cloud are hard to beat as far as service and cost. (Until they shut you down.)
According to the FEC, all donations that aggregate over 200 should report employer. So, if you make four 50 dollar donations, they have to report employer... ergo they ask for it for almost all contributions. If you go to the Save America Pac and donate, they do ask for employer but put an asterisk on it explaining the 200 dollar combined requirement. If you keep it under 200 total, it does look like you can avoid putting in your employer.
